At 2F, we thrive on innovation and purpose, combining a startup’s agility with a clear mission to support national security. You will be at the forefront of driving the DC area events strategy behind the deployment and scaling of our revolutionary Game Warden platform—an industry-leading tool that is accelerating the secure adoption of mission-critical SaaS solutions for the U.S. government. If you’re ready to contribute to a team that values ingenuity, collaboration, and impact, we want to hear from you.
Note: This role requires U.S. citizenship due to government contract requirements. Additionally, candidates must reside in DC/Maryland/Virginia.
Plan and execute 2F events such as Offset Symposium, executive dinners, customer engagements, podcast recordings, and corporate hospitality events (e.g., Capital One Suite).
Manage logistics for senior-level engagement during industry conferences and travel, including quarterly events like SXSW, AFCEA West, and other government/defense tech gatherings.
Coordinate event vendors, venues, catering, travel, schedules, materials, and post-event follow-up.
Partner with Marketing to support the execution of major brand events, particularly in the DC region.
Maintain an events calendar and ensure alignment across Marketing, Sales, and Leadership.
Support podcast scheduling, guest coordination, and production logistics.
Assist with internal communications, messaging, and content coordination related to events and company culture.
Serve as the primary point of contact for our Arlington office, overseeing supplies, space organization, vendor coordination, and visitor support.
Ensure the office is a well-run, welcoming resource for employees and guests.
Coordinate occasional team onsite days, leadership offsites, and internal meetings.
1–3 years of experience in events, marketing, communications, hospitality, or office operations (internships considered).
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — comfortable interacting with executives, customers, and external partners.
A “no-task-too-small” attitude paired with professionalism and reliability.
Ability to travel quarterly for select conferences and events.
Comfortable working in-office most or all days (required).
Interest in national security, defense tech, or high-growth startups is a plus.
Energized by creating exceptional experiences for customers, partners, and internal teams.
Highly proactive and able to anticipate needs before they become issues.
Flexible, positive, and excited to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
Someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and being at the center of getting things done.
A team player who communicates clearly and keeps stakeholders aligned.
The expected base salary range for this role is $70,000 - $90,000. Final compensation will be based on factors such as experience, skills, level, and geographic location. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses and equity grants as part of the total compensation package.
