We work with innovative companies across the UK to help them claim R&D tax credits from the government for the innovation they have undertaken.
Traditionally companies have worked with providers who offer support through an offline process to secure these incentives. EmpowerRD has developed a SaaS platform and married it up to a team of Tax experts to create a claiming process fit for the digital age.
We have supported over 1200+ companies but we continue to expand our focus to become the UK’s leading R&D Tax Credits specialist. Therefore we are looking for a Senior Demand Generation Marketing Manager to join our highly skilled team to help us achieve that ambition. .
Working both autonomously and in collaboration, you'll play an integral role to our continued growth and be empowered with the right tools and training for top of the funnel success. In addition you will gain valuable FinTech experience and, as you progress, be rewarded with the opportunity to grow within the organisation.
The Marketing team at EmpowerRD is looking for a Senior Demand Generation Marketing Manager to help scale pipeline impact through full-funnel demand campaigns that drive measurable revenue outcomes. You’ll lead campaign strategy and execution across key account segments, directly partnering with Sales and cross-functional stakeholders such as Product to convert market interest into pipeline and bookings.
The impact and ownership you will have:
- Full-Funnel Campaign Ownership – Lead the end-to-end strategy, execution, and optimisation of demand generation campaigns. Develop compelling programs that convert across multiple funnel stages — from engagement to closed-won.
- Pipeline Generation at Scale – Contributing £1.1m in qualified pipeline sourced through inbound campaign activities, with a focus on high-intent conversion and accelerated deal velocity.
- Sales + Marketing Alignment – Build tight collaboration with Sales, especially in key segments and strategic industries. You will co-design plays that fuel pipeline growth and improve win rates.
- Own Campaign Channel Distribution - Leverage existing EmpowerRD marketing channels but have the curiosity to experiment with new and emerging channels.
- Segment Specific Campaigns – Build repeatable and scalable campaign motions tailored to businesses in differing stages of their evolution (Seed, Venture, Growth). You will own campaign strategies targeting accounts across our key target industries.
- Campaign Execution – Execute integrated campaigns with attention to, channel mix which is aligned to personas
- Attribution + ROI Insights – to track, attribute, and optimise campaign performance. Continuously iterate on programs based on pipeline velocity, ROI, and performance benchmarks.
Essential Requirements:
- University undergraduate degree or equivalent.
- 4-6 years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, with a focus on demand generation and pipeline growth
- Proven ability to drive revenue-impacting campaigns in partnership with Sales, Product Marketing and Tech teams.
- Experience running campaigns targeted towards senior leaders, c-suite, technical and product leads in tech and science based industries.
- Familiarity with campaign execution and pipeline development across a diverse range of businesses across differing stages of evolution.
- Demonstrated ability to manage MarTech infrastructure and ensure executional rigor, with a focus on high impact, iterative improvements, and scaling. Expertise includes hands-on experience with pipeline attribution tools and campaign performance metrics.
- Ability to build influence across GTM teams through data-backed storytelling and visible campaign success
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments with evolving goals and priorities
- Somebody wanting to join and build our Demand Generation roadmap for a scaling SaaS Business.
- A proven winner who thrives in fast paced environments.
- Proven ability to execute demand gen programs using automation tools including HubSpot, LinkedIn, Google Adwords, and others platforms deemed necessary.
Desired Skills (but not essential)
- Experienced having worked in in FinTech
- Knowledge of the UK R&D Tax credits scheme
- Experience of working with Partnerships as a demand generation channel
