As a DevOps Engineer III, you will:
- Lead the architecture and implementation of advanced cloud-native infrastructure and automation solutions.
- Drive the development and optimization of CI/CD pipelines for high-scale, distributed systems.
- Own and manage production environments with a focus on performance, resilience, and scalability.
- Design and implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging strategies.
- Lead incident response and post-mortem processes, while mentoring junior engineers on troubleshooting practices.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, security, product) to align DevOps strategies with business goals.
- Lead cloud infrastructure cost optimization and usage analysis initiatives.
- Establish and enforce security and compliance standards; drive preparation for audits (e.g., SOC 2).
- Evaluate and introduce new tools and practices to continuously improve the DevOps ecosystem.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Deep experience with AWS services (including advanced configurations for EC2, RDS, KMS, VPC, IAM policies, etc.).
- Strong expertise in infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred).
- Advanced experience with CI/CD automation and release engineering best practices.
- Experience leading large-scale DevOps projects or initiatives.
- Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
- Experience with incident management, root cause analysis, and building self-healing systems.
- Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
