As our Director, Events and Venues, you will provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, strategic direction, and process excellence for the Events & Venues team. You will lead by example, cultivating a culture of innovation and partnership, and ensure all operations align with agency values, fiscal responsibility, and quality standards. The Client Delivery department is comprised of the core Client Delivery team, Global Event Operations, Events & Venues, Hospitality Operations, Travel, Promotions, & Fleet in which this position’s primary focus is the Events & Venues team

REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strategic Leadership. You’ll proactively source, evaluate, and secure venues and event spaces across the country, leveraging industry research, and a deep understanding of market trends to ensure optimal location selection for client programs. You’ll provide direction and guidance to the Events + Venues team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. As a connector and facilitator, you will foster open communication channels within and across departments, driving the creation and continuous improvement of scalable processes. You will champion best practices and efficiency across all touchpoints.
- Operational Management. You will oversee the rapid development, implementation, and refinement of contract templates, promotional materials, and program-specific documents. You will manage all financial aspects, including budget allocation and payment processing, and will lead end-to-end contract negotiations with venues and key suppliers nationwide. Additionally, you will analyze event data and performance metrics to identify trends and patterns.
- Client Engagement. You will serve as the primary liaison between the department and client teams, ensuring that all efforts are aligned with client objectives and expectations. You will lead presentations and meetings with clarity and confidence, representing the agency’s expertise and its ability to deliver results in a dynamic environment. You will proactively address client needs and concerns, always demonstrating a solution-oriented and action-focused approach to problem-solving.
- Team Development. You will provide mentorship, coaching, and support to Events + Venues team members, fostering their professional growth and development. You will lead by example to promote a collaborative, accountable, and high-energy team culture that values diversity, inclusion, and continual learning. Additionally, you will conduct performance evaluations, offer constructive feedback, and support professional growth, ensuring your team can adapt and excel in a fast-moving environment.
The annual range for this role varies between $88,000 - $95,000 and may vary depending on the candidate’s experience. Benefits for this role include health/vision/dental insurance, 401k, employee stock purchase plan, vacation, personal days and paid holiday time.
