Director of IT Service Management System Level.
Director will have their own ITSM department to manage that interacts with all technical,
functional, and service areas of ITS across the system. They would not have
people at the various hospitals reporting in. This position reports to the CTO,
who then reports to the CIO. Candidates must have healthcare related experience.
Director will be responsible for providing the vision and direct leadership for components of the IT Service Management program, including: change management, configuration management, release management, incident and problem management, as well as ongoing continuous service improvement programs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Accounting/Finance, or healthcare related discipline is required
• Master’s degree is preferred
EXPERIENCE:
• At least ten (10) years experience in a complex business and information systems environment, preferably in healthcare, required
• At least five (5) of those years must have been in a managerial capacity; requirement
CERTIFICATIONS
• ITIL v3 certification required or must obtain within first 6 months of employment

This individual will work with cross-functional IT teams to design, develop, and integrate IT Processes and procedures utilizing best practices and industry standard frameworks (e.g. ITIL, COBIT, PMBOK, CMMI).
They will ensure seamless execution by applying process improvement, change management methodologies, communication planning, organizational readiness assessment, and stakeholder analyses. In addition to this, they will also lead the migration to new technologies, and forecast financial, physical, and human resources needs to meet established objectives.
