About Antithesis
Antithesis is a developer tools company building a fundamentally new approach to software testing.
Our platform uses advanced fuzzing and property-based testing techniques, combined with large-scale deterministic simulation, to uncover deep, correctness-critical bugs that traditional testing approaches miss—across a wide range of real-world software systems.
We are early in building a dedicated Product organization around this technology and are focused on creating a scalable, decision-owning Product function as we ramp go-to-market.
The role
We’re hiring a Director of Product Management to lead our Product Management function and act as the Head of Product’s primary partner on product content.
This role exists to scale product leadership. You will manage Product Managers directly, help shape and refine product direction, and ensure consistently strong product judgment across the organization—without centralizing all decisions in a single person.
You’ll be deeply involved in product vision and principles, while operating within a shared frame ultimately owned by the Head of Product. This is a senior leadership role with real authority, autonomy, and growth potential.
What you’ll do:

Lead and develop Product Managers
Directly manage PMs and own performance, coaching, and career development
Set and maintain a clear bar for high-quality PM work
Ensure PMs operate as true owners of their work, with increasing independence and judgment

Partner on product vision and strategy
Act as the Head of Product’s closest thought partner on product content and major tradeoffs
Contribute meaningfully to shaping, refining, and pressure-testing product vision and strategy
Translate high-level direction into clear guidance for Product Managers

Apply product principles and ensure decision quality
Partner with the Head of Product on developing and evolving product principles
Ensure principles are applied consistently in day-to-day product decisions
Mediate tradeoffs and escalate when new or foundational judgment is required

Support clear ownership and effective execution
Help PMs establish clear ownership and direction for their product areas
Ensure product direction translates into clear priorities and effective execution across PM work
Adapt ownership and structure as product strategy and customer needs evolve

Hire and onboard Product Managers
Play a leading role in hiring PMs
Help define PM role profiles and hiring criteria
Ensure new PMs are onboarded into Antithesis’s product philosophy and expectations

Partner cross-functionally
Work closely with Product Operations to ensure process and tooling support good product judgment
Partner with Product Design to maintain coherence between product intent and user experience
Serve as a first escalation point for cross-cutting or ambiguous product decisions
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for a senior product leader who combines strong product judgment with people leadership.
You likely have:
Significant experience as a Product Manager on complex, technical products
Experience managing and developing Product Managers
Strong instincts for product tradeoffs, abstraction, and decision-making
Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments
The ability to partner closely with senior leadership while exercising real autonomy
A collaborative, low-ego leadership style with a bias toward clarity and action
Experience with developer tools, infrastructure products, or highly technical platforms is strongly preferred.
Growth and trajectory
This role is designed to grow over time. While there is no automatic progression, it offers a clear path toward broader product leadership, including potential evolution into a Head of Product role depending on company needs and fit.
