The Role
Step into a pivotal leadership role as our Director of Revenue Management in vibrant Accra, Ghana. In this crucial position, you will be the architect of our commercial success, driving the organization’s profitability and growth through innovative pricing strategies, dynamic inventory management, and sharp market analysis.
What You Will Be Doing
As a key member of our leadership team, you will:
Develop, implement, and adapt comprehensive revenue strategies to optimize room rates, occupancy, and overall yield.
Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and demand patterns to make highly precise, data-driven commercial decisions.
Masterfully manage inventory and dynamic pricing across all distribution channels to maximize revenue and market share.
Partner closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure all commercial strategies are cohesive and effectively executed.
Monitor booking pace, produce accurate performance reports, and deliver actionable forecasts to guide senior management.
Identify untapped revenue streams, implement forward-thinking solutions, and stay ahead of hospitality industry best practices.
Play a central, hands-on role in the annual budgeting and long-term strategic planning processes.
Cultivate a high-performing culture by training, mentoring, and guiding team members in core revenue management principles.
Your Skills and Qualifications
Proven track record as a Director of Revenue Management or in a similar senior commercial role within the hospitality industry.
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (an MBA or Master's degree focusing on revenue, finance, economics, or data analytics is highly advantageous).
Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable, high-impact strategic decisions.
Advanced proficiency in Revenue Management Systems (RMS), data analysis and reporting tools, and the Microsoft Office suite.
Strong leadership presence with a demonstrated history of effectively managing, mentoring, and inspiring teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex strategies clearly to senior management and stakeholders.
Deep understanding of hospitality market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and emerging industry trends.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the agility to prioritize tasks, adapt to changing market conditions, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
A customer-centric mindset coupled with a continuous drive to implement innovative, revenue-generating solutions.
