Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven E-commerce QA Engineer to support our global e-commerce initiatives. This role requires expertise in JIRA, agile methodologies, and the ability to coordinate between business stakeholders and web development teams executing two-week sprints. The ideal candidate will be able to define and enforce testing strategies that lead to predictable and successful web development initiatives that continually improve our global e-commerce websites.
What You’ll Do:
Take ownership of quality control and stability of all websites and environments while testing active development tickets and company projects or initiatives on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) e-commerce platform.
Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test documentation based on user stories and technical specs.
Execute manual testing for functional, regression, integration, and cross-browser/device coverage.
Create and maintain automated testing for all active functionalities and regression testing.
Verify backend workflows, API integrations, payment flows (e.g., Braintree, PayPal), and third-party services.
Find, track and document bugs in Jira, and collaborate closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Proactively identify risks and edge cases in the QA process, making recommendations to improve product stability.
Attend agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute QA insights.
Support internal quality processes and help define best practices for SFCC QA workflows.
Qualifications:
5+ years of QA experience, with at least 2+ years focused on e-commerce testing (Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience required).
Familiarity with SFCC Business Manager, content assets, promotional campaigns, site preferences.
Strong understanding of web application testing concepts including HTTP, REST, cookies, session handling, etc.
Ability to create and maintain automated testing tools such as Selenium.
Experience validating integrations with payment gateways, shipping providers, analytics tools, and PIMs.
Proven ability to design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks using C#, leveraging Playwright for modern UI automation and Reqnroll (SpecFlow successor) for BDD-style test scenarios.
Comfortable working across desktop and mobile, using browser dev tools and debugging tools effectively.
Excellent communication skills and a team-first mindset—able to work closely with developers and stakeholders.
Familiarity with Jira, test case management tools, and agile development practices.
