We are looking for a highly experienced Teamcenter Expert. This position pulls together multiple areas of experience that are traditionally filled by separate people. This person needs to understand requirements capture and flow down process for Teamcenter development and how to translate requirements into design elements/work items that are completed by developers. This person must also have the hands-on experience to then develop the Teamcenter customizations themselves.  

This position requires a person passionate about bringing Teamcenter into the modern IT age. Our project is deploying Teamcenter within the AWS Gov Cloud utilizing the DevSecOps framework. All Teamcenter architecture and development must be tailored to work within the DevSecOps framework and leverage automation wherever possible to facilitate delivering into the AWS Gov cloud. As the Senior Teamcenter Developer, you will serve as a technical leader and recognized authority in enterprise PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) architecture and development. You will be responsible for completing the development of an advanced Teamcenter-based solution that supports product data management, digital thread enablement, and enterprise-wide interoperability across engineering, manufacturing, and business systems. 

This role requires deep expertise and hands-on experience in Teamcenter capabilities including BMIDE configuration, workflow development, Active Workspace Customization (AWC), Rich Access Client (RAC), and enterprise system integrations (e.g., ERP, MES, CAD).  

You will review the current state of the customer’s Teamcenter instance and complete the development of each area as needed in a short (3 month) timeline. 

Follow-on work will include maintaining a regular cadence of Teamcenter version upgrades, further development of the client’s Teamcenter instance, architectural standards, lead strategic planning initiatives, and ensure that Teamcenter implementations align with data governance policies, business transformation goals, and the complete digital lifecycle. You will also support business development through technical briefings, architectural roadmaps, and customer engagements.  

The proposed salary range for this position is $155,510-$185,100. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications. RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Completing the development of an enterprise-wide digital architecture with Siemens Teamcenter at the core 
  • Develop Teamcenter information models, classification schemas, workflows, and change management structures using BMIDE, RAC and Active Workspace 
  • Integrate Teamcenter with external systems (e.g., Cameo, Teamwork Cloud, and CAD tools like SolidWorks and Creo) using SOA, ITK, T4x, and/or Teamcenter Gateway 
  • Administer a scalable and secure Teamcenter solution that supports automated AWS Gov Cloud deployments 
  • Ensure configuration and customization efforts align with enterprise-wide data governance, USAF cyber and engineering/manufacturing compliance, and traceability requirements within the DevSecOps delivery pipeline 
  • Implement Teamcenter deployment strategies that support historical data lineage, product baselining, variant management, and digital thread continuity 
  • Follow or finish developing metadata strategies, master data alignment, and taxonomy structures within the Teamcenter ecosystem 
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects, business analysts, and engineering leaders to map Teamcenter capabilities to business outcomes 
  • Provide strategic consultation from a Teamcenter perspective on cloud-readiness and containerized deployment models (e.g., via AWS, Azure) 
  • Support technical efforts for new business proposals, including architecture visioning, capability demonstrations, and white papers 
  • Deliver documentation and architectural artifacts including data models, interface specifications, and solution blueprints 
  • Maintain alignment with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and support Agile/DevSecOps delivery models 
  • Champion best practices in model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and product lifecycle traceability through Teamcenter integrations 
  • KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance 
  • Education and Years of Experience: Bachelor’s degree with 8-10 years of experience or Master’s degree with 6-8 years of experience, with 4 years of Teamcenter specific experience.

  • Active DoD Directive 8570 IAT I or II certification (Security+ or equivalent) (Or candidate must obtain Security + certification within the first 90 days of hire.) 
  • Proven track record developing complex Teamcenter solutions across multi-stakeholder organizations 
  • Demonstrated experience with Teamcenter BMIDE and Workflow Development, Active Workspace configuration, and PLM process modeling 
  • Expertise in Teamcenter core modules (e.g., Structure Manager, Workflow Designer, Change Management, Product Configurator) 
  • Experience with Teamcenter integrations to 3D CAD platforms including interface architecture and data synchronization 
  • Deep understanding of enterprise information models, PLM data lifecycles, and digital thread concepts 
  • Knowledgeable on principles, and implementation of IT automation and orchestration in a Teamcenter implementation 
  • PREFERRED ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certification in TOGAF, Zachman, or similar EA frameworks 
  • Experience deploying or migrating Teamcenter in cloud or hybrid environments 
  • Familiarity with data lake architectures, digital twin frameworks, and event-driven integrations with PLM systems 
  • Hands-on experience with Teamcenter-related tools such as TcIC, T4x, or Polarion ALM 
  • Advanced proficiency with modeling languages and tools (e.g., UML, ER, SysML) and PLM data governance principles 
  • Experience with USAF programs and ways of working 
  • Experience with IT automation tools such as Python, Ansible etc.  
  • Expertise in Master Data Management (MDM) strategies and integration with enterprise information systems
