Reporting to the Ecommerce Manager, you will support the Ecommerce team in managing the ARNE website and mobile apps, contributing across key areas including Content management, visual merchandising, search and navigation optimisation and supporting the team with product release preparation. You will help oversee the full customer journey on-site, ensuring product and content are well presented, easy to discover and aligns with key product focuses and brand guidelines.
Your day to day responsibilities will include:
- Own the Search and Visual Merchandising across websites and mobile app, using a mix of manual and AI driven product positioning
- Support the Ecommerce Manager in implementing a Search and Merch platform to improve product positioning including identifying business preferences, sorting rules and drop products to maximise sales and sell through rate
- Ensure products are both strategically and attractively merchandised across all collections to maximise sales along side maintaining the brands visual high standards at all times
- Work extremely closely with product and merchandising teams to understand business key product focuses align with product positioning and content across web and app
- Upload and manage website and app content through the Shopify CMS, ensuring landing pages, campaigns, PLP tiles, and brand storytelling across site are implemented accurately
- Work closely with the content and studio teams to ensure imagery, copy and creative assets meet brand guidelines and are delivered on time for product launches and campaigns.
- Work with Content and Creative teams to understand what content is available and identify how we can best utilise these on site to support conversion and new customer reach
- Provide regular reporting on key product performance metrics, search analytics, homepage customer interaction and navigation usage offering recommendations for improvements where relevant
- Complete competitor analysis to improve site functionality and keep up to date with current trends and opportunities for conversion improvements.
- Support accurately categorise products within Shopify for optimal discoverability through collections, filters, and navigation menus across our website and mobile app.
- Support the product and category management across websites including product creation, pricing, taxonomy, navigation and categorisation to provide the ultimate customer journey and maximum revenue.
- Support the preparation and execution of bi-weekly product releases, coordinating with teams across the business to ensure launches are delivered smoothly and on time.
- Ensure product data upholds ARNE’s brand guidelines and contributes to a consistent, high-quality customer experience.
- Collaborate with the SEO agency to ensure all products, collections and content slots are structured and optimised to improve Google rankings and enhance overall on-site SEO performance.
- Work with the data team to understand the customer journey across our digital platforms, identifying opportunities to enhance user experience and optimise conversion particularly from a Content, Product Positioning and Navigation perspective.
- Stay informed on Shopify best practices, platform updates, and e-commerce trends to ensure ARNE remains at the forefront of user experience.
Requirements
- 2+ years’ of ecommerce experience, preferably in fashion
- Experience using a Search and Merch tool automation and rule sets (preferable)
- Experience uploading Content across multiple platforms
- Experience using Google Analytics
- Experience using customer journey data tools such as Full Story or Content Square
- Efficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to demonstrate strong commercial awareness
- Experience with Ecommerce platforms, third-party plugins and CMS systems
- Computer literate, proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Ability to analyse and report on site metrics such as conversion rate, AOV, CTR etc
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written as you will be working with a range of colleagues and prospective employees at all levels
- Ability to adapt quickly to change
