Engineer II, Test Automation & Quality Assurance

What you will be doing

As an Engineer II You contribute meaningfully to the success of one or more projects or products, helping drive positive outcomes.

You demonstrate proficiency and specialized skill in one or more key technologies relevant to the team’s goals.

You accurately scope, estimate, design, and deliver medium-to-large features while actively reducing technical debt across projects or products.

You proactively support and collaborate with team members, fostering a positive and productive team environment.

You adhere to established team processes, ensuring a steady and reliable delivery of features to production.

These are the types of things you’ll be working on 

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust test automation frameworks and scripts.

Write, execute, and evaluate test cases to target areas of most risk, and provide testing metrics.

Implement automated testing of various features across multiple systems to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the software testing process.

Independently developing performance, functional, behavioral, API, and 508 (any as needed) test scripts using applicable tools, create test scenarios and execute tests

Collaborate closely with software developers to identify and fix software bugs and defects.

Assist in defining and implementing strategies for integration and system testing.

Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define, prioritize, and communicate QA/Testing requirements

Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across the team.

Contribute to the creation of a continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) environment.

Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications.

Assist in the estimation, prioritization, and planning of development tasks, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Document and maintain the functionality of test cases and automation scripts.

The salary range for Engineer II is $108,700-$125,300.
