**Essential Duties**
- Keep our community sparkling by emptying trash in common areas, disposing of it properly in dumpsters, and disinfecting trash receptacles throughout all common areas.
- Master the art of carpet and floor care using vacuums, extractors, and buffing machines to maintain pristine surfaces.
- Be our eyes on the ground—spot and report any damage to floors, carpets, tile, and equipment to your supervisor right away so we can keep everything in top shape.
- Refresh our outdoor spaces by cleaning furniture and smoking areas to maintain a welcoming environment.
- Prepare resident rooms for new arrivals with thorough deep cleaning and disinfecting before admission and whenever needed.
- Keep our department running smoothly by monitoring inventory levels, helping stock supplies, and alerting leadership to any shortages or overstock situations.
- Execute detailed cleaning assignments with precision and care, following our operational schedules.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- At least 6 months experience in the janitorial or floor care field, preferably in a healthcare environment.
- Experience in using cleaning equipment such as buffers, extractors, power washers, carpet cleaners.
- Ability to complete tasks from a checklist operation schedule.
- Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
- Must possess excellent customer service skills.
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements
- Moderate to heavy physical activity required by exerting up to 75 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 45 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 22 pounds of force constantly.
- Constant standing, walking, and grasping. Frequent stooping and reaching above shoulder heights, occasional sitting, crawling, kneeling, and squatting.
- Frequent exposure to chemicals.
- May have exposure to blood borne pathogens, body excretions and communicable diseases possible.
- Is subject to frequent interruptions.
- Interacts with residents, family members, visitors frequently.
