As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Factory Coordinator to join our team and ensure seamless operations with our vendors and factories.
Position Overview:
The Factory Coordinator will play a critical role in overseeing inventory management, maintaining relationships with existing vendors, and ensuring smooth collaboration with factories in China. This hybrid position requires a resourceful individual with strong mathematical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a background in sales or purchasing.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure optimal inventory for household items.
Vendor Relations: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing vendors, ensuring timely deliveries and high-quality standards.
Purchasing: Coordinate the procurement of products, negotiating terms with vendors to maximize value.
Factory Coordination: Collaborate with factory teams to address production issues, streamline workflows, and uphold quality standards.
Data Management: Utilize Excel and other tools to analyze data, track inventory, and create reports that distill complex information into actionable insights.
Communication: Provide clear and concise updates to internal teams, summarizing key details from large datasets to facilitate decision-making.
Sales Support: Leverage sales experience to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Qualifications:
Strong resourcefulness and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in mathematics and data analysis.
Advanced knowledge of Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information succinctly.
Background in sales, purchasing, or a related field.
Experience working with vendors and factories in China is highly preferred.
Familiarity with household items or consumer products is a plus.
Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site and remote work as needed.
