Are you naturally curious, analytical and great at spotting what others might miss? We’re looking for a Financial Crime Executive to join our Financial Crime Operations Team — a small, collaborative and high‑performing team at the heart of Target Group’s first line of defence.
In this role, you’ll support colleagues across the business, work with multiple clients, and play a key part in preventing, detecting and responding to financial crime. If you want variety, responsibility and the chance to make a real difference, this is the perfect opportunity.
What you’ll be doing
No two days look the same. You’ll get involved in a wide range of activities, including:
- Monitoring transactions, high‑risk payments, sanctions alerts, PEP hits and adverse media
- Having insightful conversations to gather source‑of‑funds information
- Responding to fraud allegations and other financial crime concerns
- Managing enquiries that come through to the Financial Crime Operations inbox
- Producing clear, accurate MI to support clients and internal teams
- Supporting financial crime awareness across the business
- Helping shape robust controls by identifying emerging risks and suggesting improvements
- Contributing to a compliant, customer‑focused culture across Target Group
- Taking on additional projects and workstreams with full support from the team

Requirements
What you’ll bring
You’re someone who is:
- Flexible, adaptable and a real team player

- Ethical, thorough and detail‑focused
- Able to manage your own workload and meet tight deadlines
- Skilled at presenting information clearly and concisely
And ideally you have:
- Experience in a financial services regulatory environment
- Previous exposure to financial crime prevention (desirable)
- Knowledge of transaction monitoring, CDD and SAR processes (desirable)
- The ability to assess risk without compromising genuine customer experience
