The opportunity:
Transfer pricing is one of the most topical, controversial and challenging fields within tax and KPMG is looking for professionals with an interest in transfer pricing to join our expanding practice. You'll have four or more years of transfer pricing experience.The client base spans large multinational groups and high growth businesses across multiple sectors. Working closely with international and corporate tax specialists across the KPMG network in New Zealand and offshore, you will be part of an integrated team delivering practical, high quality outcomes.
Day to day you will:
Expand your transfer pricing knowledge, with interesting and complex engagements across diverse industries, while working with KPMG’s Global Transfer Pricing Services network to provide holistic transfer pricing advice that addresses multi-jurisdictional requirementsWork with a highly experienced, market leading team of transfer pricing specialists, with a welcoming team cultureUndertake transfer pricing studies and analyses, helping our clients to meet international transfer pricing obligations in an ever-changing international tax landscapeManage client relationships, responding to all client queries in an effective and timely mannerMeet with clients to understand their business, their transfer pricing needs and potential risk exposuresAssist with tax authority disputes and APA applications, including preparing submissions and responses Contribute to continuous improvement of in-house systems
What you'll bring to the team:
Four or more years transfer pricing experience in a professional services environmentRelevant qualifications (e.g. degree in accounting, finance, economics or law) Effective communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients, staff and partnersStrong organisational and time management skillsGood problem solving and analytical skillsSelf-motivated with a high level of initiative
