The Opportunity:
We're looking for a Manager in our Christchurch office to deliver on a wide variety of work across our national Deal Advisory division, but with a specific focus on financial due diligence, valuations and financial modelling.This role also contributes to the growth of the business through the identification of new business opportunities, building networks and relationships, and promoting the services of KPMG as a whole.
Day to day you will:
Manage client projects, with direct client and target interactionAdvise clients on complex strategic, commercial and investment choicesAnalyse problems, identify core issues, investigate and formulate solutions, ensuring advice to clients is technically sound and aligned with clients’ needsBuild strong, trusted relationships with senior management and mid-level executives and other key stakeholders in engagementsBe a great team player, and take pride in providing first class solutions to clients as well as developing those around youIdentify and proactively respond to new business opportunities to provide added value to clients
About you:
Demonstrated experience in Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Finance, and/or Financial Due Diligence.CA or CFA qualification (or working toward one).Excellent report writing and the ability to distill complex information into simple, accessible insights.Strong communication, analytical and Excel capabilities.A collaborative approach and the confidence to engage with clients at all levels.Experience leading teams and delivering high-quality work under pressure.A passion for problem‑solving, continuous learning, and delivering outstanding client service.
