Siepe is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Fixed Income Operations Analystwith strong business acumen to drive operational excellence across our diverse product groups. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, brings strong critical-thinking skills, and consistently delivers precise execution. The Operations Analyst will perform daily fixed income transactions with focus on trades settlements, support multiple asset classes, identify opportunities for operational improvement, and collaborate closely with internal and external partners to ensure high-quality service delivery.
What You'll Be Doing
Assist with daily trade settlement and corporate actions workflows across multiple asset classes. Perform fixed income trade affirmation, confirmation, and settlement activities. Manage corporate actions and amendment voting, including restructures, tenders, calls, mergers, Dutch auctions, stock splits, and bankruptcy exchanges. Manage operational activities surrounding exits and restructures. Oversee counterparty and vendor relationships, ensuring accuracy and service quality. Work with clients and internal teams on position and cash reconciliation processes. Respond to the needs of clients and third parties while collaborating closely with internal teams. Develop and maintain strong partnerships with external counterparties. Identify and implement operational process improvements. Manage and maintain performance targets and quality control metrics. Comply with and enforce standard policies and procedures. Assist with training and preparation of training documentation as needed. Support business needs during peak periods, including month-end and quarter-end, when extended work hours may be required.
What You’ll Bring
5+ years of relevant operations, securities, or investment management experience. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred)Strong understanding of corporate bonds, CLOs, ABS, and private credit instruments, including full life cycle management, settlements, and trade support. Deep expertise in corporate actions processing across a broad range of event types. Proven ability to manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Exceptional attention to detail with strong research, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work across multiple internal and external systems comfortably and navigate technical platforms with minimal training while asking pertinent questions to learn quickly. Proven automation mindset to identify opportunities to create efficiency and improve accuracy. Self-motivated self-starter who actively seeks challenges and ownership. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams and with external partners. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills required. Experience with DTC Alert, DTC CTM and DTC CAM. Familiar with Bloomberg, S&P and ClearPar. Loan administration and settlements experience.Experience using LendAmend, Solvas, and/or WSO. Must have current and ongoing authorization to work in the country of employment without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
