Founding Engineer - Full-Stack (Backend-leaning)

Job Description:
As the first non-founding engineer, you will architect the foundations of a platform leveraging multi-agent systems to accelerate industrial development. Working directly with the founders, you will own the backend services, design scalable cloud infrastructure, and build responsive UI components, moving from wireframes to production-ready features with high autonomy and speed.

What you will do:

• Design and build secure backend services in TypeScript or Python, utilizing REST endpoints, queue-based processing, and async AI pipelines.

• Architect and manage cloud infrastructure on GCP using serverless functions, Pub/Sub, and modern CI/CD processes for production excellence.

• Translate product requirements and wireframes into accessible React components, ensuring a seamless user experience across the entire digital estate.

The ideal candidate:

• 5–10+ years of experience building production backend systems with a strong proficiency in TypeScript, Python, and modern cloud architecture.

• Proven track record with GCP or similar cloud providers, including experience with containers, DevOps, and infrastructure-as-code.

• Pragmatic communicator with a bias for shipping who thrives in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and is comfortable owning frontend features.
