Founding Product Manager

About the Role

Nailing the right product shape is incredibly important and something we think a lot about. For the first time, software is now non-deterministic, has human-level intelligence, and can get better as you use it. How users teach and interact with agents is probably going to be different than with other software, and is still very much an open question. In our space (and in many others), we believe that the winner will be determined by (1) choosing the right segment of the market, (2) building the best underlying intelligence, and (3) nailing the right product around that intelligence.

As our Founding Product Manager, you will own the latter. This is an incredibly important and uniquely high-ownership role to help shape AI agents in production for some of the largest companies out there, powering one of the most important functions of their business (making revenue!).

What You’ll Do

• Think on all levels: Zoom out (what is the broad structure of the platform, what are the right abstractions, etc.) and in (how do these abstractions enable this use case for this customer, what breaks, what do we need to change).
• Build from first principles: We’re highly thesis-driven and rigorous. You’ll fit right in if you’re like this too, and we’d love your help on pushing all of us to be crisper on what to build, why, and how to know that it’s working.
• Dive into human-agent collaboration + help find the 10x: We’re still in the earliest innings of building AI-native products, especially where humans and machines collaborate together (not fully “pull”-based like chat, but also not fully autonomous) to accomplish a shared goal. This is one of the most interesting problems we’re thinking about and critical for us to nail.
• Drive product strategy & roadmap: Work closely with the founders & engineering team to crystallize our product vision and turn it into an actionable, evolving roadmap that aligns with user needs and our long-term thesis.
• Lead discovery & prototyping: Talk to users, analyze product usage, synthesize qualitative feedback, and identify product gaps. Prototype rapidly to validate ideas and iterate based on insights.
• Define success & measure it: Set clear product KPIs, track feature performance post-launch, and use data to decide what to double down on, and when to pivot.
• Work across the org: Embed with the product engineering, FDE, and go-to-market teams to unblock execution, get quick validation, and push ideas from prototype to launched product.

Who You Are

• 3+ years of PM experience at a product-driven tech company where owned significant product surface area and saw (& helped shape) what great looks like
• A track record of shipping high-impact products, especially in 0 →1 settings
• Deep user empathy; you love building things that make users successful
• Extremely first-principles, rigorous, and a great communicator
• Obsessed with finding simple, elegant solutions
• You move fast, take initiative, and love turning chaos into clarity

Nice to Haves

• Prior experience as a founder or in an early-stage, high-growth startup
• Demonstrated interest & experience in pushing the boundaries with LLMs / AI agents (tell us about something cool you’ve worked on!)
• Familiarity with tools like Linear, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar

The base salary range for this full-time position based in New York is: $150,000 - $205,000.
