Evervault is a data security & compliance infrastructure company. We help engineering teams find and secure their most sensitive data, and comply with data security & privacy compliance frameworks.
Our mission is to make world-class data security effortless. Our customers range from small startups building their first product to the largest financial & healthcare institutions in the world.
We are seeking a Solutions Engineer to work across pre-sales and post-sales, partnering with our Account Executives to drive technical wins and ensure successful customer implementations. You will report to our Head of Sales and play a critical role in helping prospects and customers understand and adopt Evervault's platform.
The Solutions Engineer is primarily engaged at the technical validation stage of our sales process, owning the technical evaluation and helping prospects understand how Evervault integrates with their existing architecture. You may also join discovery calls when technical stakeholders (developers, engineering leads, CTOs) are attending, enabling efficient conversations from day one.
Post-sale, you will serve as the primary technical point of contact during implementation and on ongoing customer support.
Lead technical validation conversations with prospects, covering our API documentation and demonstrating how Evervault integrates with their current architecture
Create payment data flow diagrams showing end-to-end architecture from card collection or receiving raw card details via API through our tokenization flow, including value-added products like 3DS, network tokens, card insights, and Apple Pay/Google Pay
Answer all technical questions that arise during prospect evaluations
Join discovery calls when developers or technical stakeholders are present to address technical questions early
Workshop creative solutions using Evervault's developer primitives to solve customer data security, compliance, and payments problems
Support customers and their engineering teams throughout their integration with Evervault
Lean in on ongoing customer support, helping developers troubleshoot integration questions (working with our engineering team for deeper technical issues)
Serve as the liaison between engineering and sales for new product builds
Enable the sales team on how to sell and explain new products, including common objections and positioning
Act as a customer advocate, translating customer pain and feedback into product development priorities
Excellent at technical and business problem discovery, asking the right questions to uncover and understand the customer's pain point and how Evervault can help
Remarkably inventive, thinking outside the box to design the best solution for each customer
Able to quickly and effectively convey complex solutions to engineers and non-engineers alike
Strong sense of ownership for your work and the long-term success of your customers
Excited about collaborating with engineering and product teams, acting as an advocate for customers
Consultative approach with strong relationship-building skills
