About the team
Prelude was founded by former Zenly team members who experienced firsthand the limitations of existing authentication solutions. While building products used by millions, we saw how SMS authentication had become expensive, unreliable, and vulnerable to spam and fraud, ultimately leading to the creation of Prelude.
Today, we are a team of 40 and growing, based in Paris, building products that power secure and high-performance user onboarding for companies across Europe and the US. We believe small, highly skilled teams outperform large, fragmented organizations, and we are intentional about staying focused on impact, quality, and speed.

The role
After achieving some incredible revenue results in 2025, we’re scaling rapidly, planning to hire across GTM, Design, Engineering and other functions over the coming year. We’re looking for a hands-on, autonomous recruiter who can own the entire recruitment process (sourcing > closing) across different areas of the company as needed. You’ll partner directly with the founders and hiring managers to define hiring strategy, drive sourcing efforts, and deliver exceptional candidate experience in your mission to bring top talent into Prelude.
What will you be doing?
Full cycle recruitment - we expect recruiters to be confident doing their own outbound sourcing, handling the entire recruitment process up to contract signature
Partnering with hiring managers for role intake calls and job advert creation
Defining interview processes alongside hiring managers, and creating scorecards with them to ensure structured hiring processes wherever possible
Advising on compensation benchmarking and hiring strategy
Updating the ATS to ensure data cleanliness and accurate reporting/forecasting
What are we looking for?
Prior experience hiring for start-ups in France
Confidence working with a specific business area (GTM, for example), and ideally comfort working across other areas too (Engineering, Design, etc, as needed)
Strong sourcing capabilities, able to think outside of the box to bring in talent; you’ll craft your outbound messaging for the highest response rates and engagement
A structured, data-driven approach to recruitment
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Enthusiasm for providing the best candidate experience possible - we’re a growing start-up and keen to ensure we build a great reputation in the French market
Fluency in French and English is preferred
Ideally, some exposure to international hiring
Ideally, you’ll have worked with Ashby before (or a similar ATS)
