In addition, the Group Manager is accountable for maintaining high levels of IT security, proactively managing security compliance, and overseeing IT governance to safeguard organisational data and systems. This includes implementing and monitoring robust security measures, ensuring adherence to relevant regulatory and compliance standards, and establishing effective governance frameworks that support both operational needs and strategic objectives.
Group Managers at Launch Housing provide a compelling vision of how the function they lead contributes to Launch Housing’s aim of ending homelessness and expanding housing solutions. In their day to day, Group Managers role model the Launch Housing Values, ensuring that they lead their teams in a manner that is accountable and collaborative. They take a disciplined approach to change management, leading their teams through uncertain times with decorum.
They care about the development of their people and look for ways to enhance their teams’ capabilities. They set challenging but realistic standards, while encouraging their teams to take a continuous quality improvement approach to all aspects of their work.
They intentionally create a culture within their function that is collaborative, innovative, accountable, safety focused (for staff and clients), and which celebrates diversity. They actively monitor program and activity costs and ensure programs adhere to agreed funding (government and philanthropic), actively exploring opportunities to design systems/processes/structures to deliver better services.
Working across the agency, they actively work to break down silos and encourage collaboration between departments within Launch Housing.
