JOB PURPOSE
This role is part of our Experience & Engineering team based in the Netherlands. We combine our skills in developing future-ready technical solutions with our expertise in creating beautiful designs to deliver exceptional and engaging digital experiences that build lasting relationships with our clients like Gant, Inter Milan, bol.com and Just Eat Takeaway.
We are looking for a Growth Manager who is hungry to build something. In this role, you will identify and develop new business opportunities for our Netherlands team, helping ambitious brands solve complex digital challenges through the combined power of technology, design, and strategy.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Client Engagement & Relationship Building
- Build and nurture relationships with marketing and technology decision-makers at prospect organisations, translating their challenges into clear, compelling solutions.
- Represent DEPT® with confidence in client conversations, demonstrating knowledge across digital experience, engineering, and emerging technologies like AI.
Sales & Pipeline Development
- Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities through direct outreach, events, partnerships, and collaboration with the marketing team.
- Manage your own pipeline end-to-end, from first contact to signed proposal.
- Use CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to track activity, report on progress, and develop good habits around forecasting and pipeline hygiene.
Collaboration & Pitching
- Work closely with delivery leads, solution architects, and strategists to build proposals and pitches that showcase DEPT®'s strengths.
- Develop familiarity with our key technology partners (e.g., Shopify, Adobe, Optimizely) and understand how those partnerships create opportunities.
WHAT YOU BRING:
- Previous experience in business development, consultative sales, or a client-facing role with a strong commercial component, within a digital agency, tech consultancy, or related environment.
- Experience selling project-based work, with exposure to digital experience, content management and publishing, ecommerce, or technology services. Familiarity with solutions like CMS, PIM, DAM, or content supply chain is a plus.
- Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders at manager and director level, with the ambition to grow into C-level conversations over time.
- A structured approach to prospecting and pipeline management, you know how to keep deals moving.
- Strong communicator who can explain complex ideas in straightforward, client-friendly language.
- Collaborative by nature, you enjoy working across teams and bringing people together around a pitch.
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to digital experience platforms, ecommerce solutions, or cloud/technology services.
- Familiarity with multi-stakeholder sales cycles and how to navigate them.
- Interest in how AI and emerging technology are reshaping digital services.
