Job Brief and Purpose:

We are currently looking for a passionate Head Chef.

As part of our team your role is to make sure that our guests have an amazing experience every day.

• Coaches and counsels team members to reflect the department’s cooking standards and procedures.
• Ensuring the correct set up, handover and breakdown of the kitchen.
• Accountable for short and long-term planning of the department’s needs.
• Comply with company, HACCP and other legislative regulations.
• Develops and recommends budgets, labor cost plans and objectives and manages functions within those approved plans.
• Able to convey information and ideas clearly.
• Able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
• Setting performance standards and monitoring performance.
• Able to build a team which he/she will be inspiring daily.
• Reviews staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are being met.

Requirements

• Ability to work a high level of performance
• Previous experience in 5-star luxury properties or international hotel brands.
• Customer-oriented and friendly
• Attention to detail and a structured way of working
• Excellent English language skills
• Able to set priorities, plan, organize, delegate and control.
