As TAL’s Head of Digital Propositions, you will shape and champion the strategy, positioning and continual evolution of our digital offering to ensure it remains market‑leading and clearly demonstrates value to our partners.

Working closely with Technology and Operations teams across Underwriting, Claims and Retirement, you will design digital experiences that elevate customer and partner outcomes and reflect TAL’s commitment to innovation. You will actively scan the competitive landscape to ensure our proposition remains cutting‑edge, strengthening TAL’s leadership in digital insurance solutions.

In this role you will:

  • Lead the development and execution of a digital roadmap that advances TAL’s digital proposition, balances partner value with sustainable cost outcomes, and aligns to TAL’s strategic objectives.
  • Oversee digital risk, compliance and governance, identifying emerging risks, maintaining key controls, and embedding a strong culture of accountability and risk management across the team.

  • Drive digital proposition growth and partner engagement, including development of tender materials, proposition collateral and platform documentation, while representing TAL’s digital offering internally and externally.

  • Champion continuous uplift of the member digital experience, ensuring TAL consistently delivers market‑leading, digital‑first services supported by strong performance insights and analytics.

  • Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing Digital Proposition team, fostering a culture of collaboration, empowerment, and strong cross‑functional engagement.

  • Collaborate closely with technology and operations teams across underwriting, claims and retirement to design innovative, market‑leading digital solutions that enhance customer and partner outcomes.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of demonstrated success in building sustainable partner relationships
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex issues to diverse audiences, with knowledge of the superannuation industry.

  • Background in financial services and insurance preferred, with strong commercial awareness

  • Strong people‑leadership and interpersonal capability, with the ability to communicate, influence, and align senior stakeholders

  • Excellent project and program management skills to drive end‑to‑end proposition delivery

  • In‑depth knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging digital opportunities
