Health and Nutrition Manager - Washington, PA
Blueprints is seeking a Health & Nutrition Manager to lead and improve health and nutrition services across our HS/EHS programs. This role oversees compliance, staff training, safety practices, and data‑driven program improvement to support positive child and family outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, CACFP, and all health/safety regulations.
- Oversee health plans, medication administration, screenings, and safety practices.
- Supervise and mentor health & nutrition staff; manage onboarding and professional development.
- Coordinate staff trainings, including CPR/First Aid and health‑related topics.
- Analyze health and nutrition data to drive quality improvement.
- Lead the Health Advisory Committee and build community partnerships.
- Collaborate with all service areas to deliver integrated, high‑quality services.
- Support grant reporting, annual updates, and required documentation.
What We’re Looking For
A collaborative leader with strong organizational skills, knowledge of child health and safety practices, and the ability to guide staff, manage systems, and ensure high‑quality service delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION:
- Registered Nurse, BSN or BS in Public Health, BPH
WORK WEEK:
- Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM (schedule will vary to meet program needs)
