Epworth HealthCare is seeking an experienced and motivated Health Information Manager or health professional to lead and coordinate staffing teams and key clerical functions across our Health Information Services (HIS) departments at Epworth Richmond and Epworth Freemasons.
In this pivotal leadership role, you will ensure HIS resources, workflows, and services operate efficiently and meet all organisational, legislative, and accreditation requirements. A key focus of the position is maintaining high standards of customer service, supporting robust health record systems, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of information within our scanned medical record environment.
This role is ideal for a proactive and solutions‑focused leader who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys driving process improvements, and is committed to providing exceptional service to clinical and administrative stakeholders. You will also oversee Epworth’s Medical Record Access team, the HIS Administration Officer, and contribute to Epworth’s progression toward digital health solutions for patients and doctors.
Reporting to the Group Manager, HIS & Patient Revenue, you will be supported by experienced Site HIS Managers across multiple Epworth locations. As part of the HIS leadership team, you will actively contribute to shaping the strategic direction of the service, ensuring Epworth HealthCare remains a leader in Health Information Services within the private health sector.
This position is based primarily at our Richmond campus, with the flexibility to work a portion of hours from home. Epworth offers strong professional and personal development opportunities, including access to our scholarship program.
This is a full-time 12‑month maternity leave position until July 2027, with a strong possibility of extension or permanency.
