(HQ) System Analyst - SAP FICO

OVERALL JOB PURPOSE

Join our dynamic and global Enterprise Application team as the SAP FICO Manager. You will play a pivotal role in leading the SAP FICO solution implementation, driving operational excellence through SAP S/4HANA ERP configuration, and managing complex integrations. Your leadership will ensure smooth accounting operations globally, overseeing the development and enhancement of financial reporting systems, and collaborating with both internal and external teams to ensure system functionality and optimization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

SAP FICO Rollout

• Lead the implementation and rollout of SAP FICO solutions by working closely with external consultants and internal users.
• Conduct requirement workshops to gather business needs and analyze solutions.
• Design and implement integrations between SAP and reporting systems, ensuring seamless data flow and system compatibility.
• Oversee GAP delivery, data migration, and the entire rollout process.

Operational Excellence

• Identify process improvement opportunities within financial operations and provide strategic recommendations.
• Manage and resolve system issues independently, ensuring timely resolution and minimal operational disruptions.
• Provide leadership in operational planning and decision-making, ensuring that global financial processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Team and Project Management

• Manage the global SAP FICO team, providing guidance and leadership across multiple regions.
• Oversee project management activities including planning, risk management, and vendor coordination.
• Facilitate communication across teams to ensure alignment and successful project execution.

ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Technical Skills

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, InformaΩtion Systems, Accounting, or a related field.
• In-depth understanding of SAP FICO processes, S/4HANA configuration, and integration with operational and reporting systems.

Knowledge/Work Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP FICO process and reporting implementation, with at least 4 years in a team or project management capacity.
• Proven experience in global SAP FICO rollout implementations.
• Strong knowledge in accounting management reports and financial data analysis
• Prior experience in the forwarding business sector is highly desirable.
