We’re looking for a Hygiene Supervisor to join our Food Technical team, reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager. This role plays a key part in ensuring high hygiene, food safety and audit standards across the site.
You’ll supervise members of the Hygiene team, ensuring cleaning activities are completed safely, effectively and on schedule. Acting as a key link between Hygiene, Operations, Engineering and Technical teams, you’ll help maintain audit readiness and drive continuous improvement across hygiene practices.
This role also includes ownership of hygiene KPIs, documentation, verification activities and corrective actions, as well as oversight of pest control management.
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:30 - 17:00

Core Responsibilities
- Ensuring robust, risk-assessed hygiene systems and cleaning instruction cards are in place for all equipment, areas and tasks
- Planning, coordinating and delivering hygiene training as required
- Managing hygiene schedules to ensure all areas and equipment are maintained to a high standard through effective planning and use of resources
- Ensuring quality, safety, hygiene and environmental standards are implemented, maintained and continuously improved
- Supporting Engineering teams with hygiene activities during planned preventative maintenance
- Leading and coordinating internal and external hygiene audits, including follow-up of corrective actions within agreed timescales
- Managing pest control processes, including action tracking, follow-ups and cross-team coordination
- Maintaining appropriate stock levels of cleaning chemicals and equipment, including raising purchase orders and checking invoices
- Ensuring all hygiene activities comply with relevant Health & Safety standards
- Planning and coordinating the Hygiene team’s work, rotas, holidays and resourcing to meet business requirements
- Working collaboratively with Operations and Food Technical teams to maintain daily audit-ready standards
