Job Details
InvoiceCloud is seeking an experienced Implementation Manager to analyze, configure, and deploy complex software and biller integrations for external customers. This role is responsible for owning implementation delivery from scope definition through go-live, ensuring integrations are executed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with payments technology requirements.
The Implementation Manager operates as a client-facing individual contributor, combining project management, configuration expertise, technical analysis, and quality assurance to deliver successful customer implementations. This role requires close coordination with internal teams, external billers, and software partners.

Ownership
- Owns end-to-end delivery of assigned customer integrations, from scope analysis through go-live.
- Serves as the primary point of accountability for configuration accuracy impacting payment transactions, including invoice types, system settings, and terminal activation.
- Maintains proactive, transparent communication with customers and internal stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Takes responsibility for resolving issues, escalating risks appropriately, and ensuring commitments are met.
Drives Efficiency
- Analyzes integration scope and completes configuration questionnaires to ensure clear, complete implementation requirements.
- Configures systems within CRM and supporting platforms to meet integration specifications and business needs.
- Develops and executes delivery and project plans to ensure tasks are completed on time and dependencies are managed.
- Coordinates activities across IT, Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Training, software partners, and billers to streamline go-live execution.
Results Driven
- Delivers integrations on schedule while meeting quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction expectations.
- Supports customer QA and UAT to validate configurations and resolve issues prior to launch.
- Submits and manages required Jira items, including integration coding and bill presentment requests, to ensure execution continuity.
- Ensures successful client go-lives through disciplined execution, testing, and stakeholder alignment.
Innovative
- Identifies opportunities to improve implementation workflows, documentation, and handoffs based on delivery experience.
- Collaborates with internal teams to refine configuration standards and reduce rework across implementations.
- Leverages automation and AI-enabled tools to support documentation, validation, and issue tracking during implementations.
- Continuously improves implementation practices to scale delivery as customer volume and integration complexity grow.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
- 4–7 years of experience in implementation, project management, or a related role
- Experience supporting external clients with medium to advanced technical system implementations
- Experience configuring systems to integration specifications and supporting business requirements
- Strong understanding of testing, QA, and UAT processes
- Experience defining and executing delivery and project plans
- Experience working in a SaaS, fintech, or payments environment; insurance industry knowledge preferred
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask under deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and willingness to learn
