Industrial Blaster-Spray Painter
Are you an experienced trade-qualified spray painter or blaster looking for a new challenge? At Thornton Engineering, we're looking for talented individuals just like you to join our team in Geelong. We will also consider labourers with painting experience.
As one of our spray painters or blasters, you'll be responsible for ensuring our fabricated steel structures and equipment are coated to our high-quality standards. Reporting to the workshop supervisor, you'll use your expertise to operate and maintain blasting and painting equipment, power tools, and hand tools required to prepare and coat fabricated parts.
Qualifications
- Qualified spray painters (or labourer with painting experience)
- Experienced spray painters with a proven history of quality and success
- Experienced blaster
- Experience in airless pumps would be advantageous, but not essential
- Skilled in operating blast and paint equipment and tools
- Current and valid driver's license
- Candidates with a forklift, dogman (DG) and/or high-risk work licenses are encouraged to apply

Our workshops are located at the northern end of Corio, Geelong and within driving range from Melbourne.
