With Intelligence now part of S&P Global, are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Insights Manager to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for conducting research and analysis of market data and trends, to generate actionable insights that support our clients’ strategic decision-making processes. This role requires work closely with stakeholders across the business, creating content and helping to inform our product development and marketing strategies.
As an Insights Manager becoming familiar with the array of data we collate on market participants, including investors, managers and service providers which involves building relationships across our editorial, marketing and events teams, and GTM strategies across functions that aligns with data and insights available across the broader S&P Global organisation to support with our analysis.
Managing the execution of our vision and strategy to develop market-facing thought leadership and insights, further strengthening With Intelligence as a business-critical, data and intelligence provider in alternative asset management is key to this role.
Responsibilities
- With guidance from the Head of Insights, taking ownership of content development projects, liaising with multiple functions, create market-facing, opinion-led, thought-provoking and proprietary insights.
- Generation offlagship thought leadership, white papers, articles, blogs and other content, to demonstrate With Intelligence as a market leader in alternative asset management.
- Team management and development to ensure upskilling of existing team members to support the deliverables required of the Insights function.
- Manage the delivery of in-depth research and analysis to identify trends and build forward-looking opinion around opportunities and challenges in the market.
- Responsible for Analysing quantitative and qualitative data to extract meaningful insights and present findings in a clear and concise manner. Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and visualizations that effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Manage sense checking the data and analysis on content creation projects. Help push the boundaries of the value we bring to our clients and broader audience.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand client needs and translate them into actionable research objectives. Discuss with the Head of Insights for consideration and inclusion into forward-looking strategy.
- In depth understanding of alternative asset management trends and challenges. Monitor industry news, publications, and competitor activities to stay updated on market developments.
- Participate in internal and external meetings to present insights and support business development efforts.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in market research, data analysis, or a related role, preferably within the finance or investment sectors.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, PowerBI).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly. Skills with data visualisation tools (eg Flourish) preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with excellent time and people management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with financial markets, investment products, and industry trends.
