We are looking for someone who is keen to hunt exclusive news and big interviews. You will be expected to uncover secrets through source-led journalism in the European private equity and private credit sectors. Scoops are the name of the game - big launches, closures, people moves, strategic shifts, investment calls and more. We want to publish what nobody else can. Our ideal candidate is someone with experience covering private credit and/or private equity, who is looking to take the next step in their career and make the beat their own.
This will involve travelling to conferences, building a source network, interviewing senior executives and more. As a senior reporter, you will be expected to develop deep knowledge of your beat, keep on top of key trends, and contribute to thoughtful, data-led analysis. We’re looking for an independent-minded reporter who wants to shape their beat and make it their own.
Based in London, you will be working as part of our team of more than 70 asset management journalists across the globe. The private markets team is growing rapidly and a key priority for strategic growth.
We work under a hybrid working arrangement with three days in the office and two days at home.
