About the Role
We are looking for a Senior IoT Developer to design, build, and scale secure, reliable IoT solutions across devices, gateways, cloud platforms, and applications. This role requires strong hands-on experience with embedded systems, cloud integrations, and end-to-end IoT architectures in a remote-first environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop end-to-end IoT solutions (device → cloud → application)
• Work on device firmware, edge computing, and gateway integrations
• Build and integrate IoT backends, APIs, and dashboards
• Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of IoT systems
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and OTA update mechanisms
• Collaborate remotely with product, cloud, and data teams
Basic Qualifications
• 8–15 years of professional experience in designing, developing, and deploying end to end IoT solutions across cloud, edge, and device layers.
• Strong experience with IoT protocols: MQTT, HTTP, CoAP
• Hands-on with embedded systems (C/C++, Python)
• Experience with Linux-based devices, RTOS, or microcontrollers
• Cloud IoT platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, GCP IoT or equivalent)
• Data ingestion, device management, and monitoring
• Understanding of networking, security, and device provisioning
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with edge computing and containerization
• Exposure to data analytics, AI/ML on IoT data
• Prior experience leading IoT implementations at scale
