Position Overview
We are seeking an Inventory Control Manager to oversee day-to-day inventory operations within our in-house warehouse. This role is responsible for ensuring physical inventory accuracy, maintaining system integrity in WMS, and ensuring inventory data flows correctly into ERP.
This is a hands-on, onsite role that bridges warehouse execution, systems accuracy, and shipping integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management & Accuracy
Own inventory accuracy within the warehouse, ensuring physical counts match WMS
Perform and manage cycle counts, spot checks, and full inventory reconciliations
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, adjustments, and variances
Ensure accurate receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping processes
Maintain inventory organization, bin locations, and labeling standards
Warehouse Operations
Oversee inbound and outbound inventory flow
Coordinate receiving from manufacturers, 3PL inbound transfers
Ensure inventory is staged and available for fulfillment as needed
Work closely with warehouse staff to enforce SOPs and best practices
Systems & Integrations
Manage daily inventory operations in the WMS
Ensure WMS inventory accurately syncs with ERP
Identify and resolve sync issues between WMS and ERP with Master Data Manager
Assist with and support integrations to shipping platforms (USPS, UPS, FedEx)
Validate shipping rules, rates, labels, and carrier mappings in shipping systems
Shipping & Fulfillment Support
Support outbound shipping workflows and carrier integrations
Troubleshoot shipping errors, rate issues, and label problems
Ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
Coordinate with operations and customer service on shipping exceptions
Process Improvement & Reporting
Document and improve inventory and warehouse SOPs
Track and report inventory KPIs (accuracy, shrink, fulfillment errors)
Recommend system or process improvements to improve accuracy and efficiency
Support audits and internal reviews as needed
Qualifications
3+ years of inventory or warehouse management experience
Hands-on experience with ShipHero (WMS) (strongly preferred)
Experience working with ERP systems (Cin7 preferred)
Familiarity with shipping carriers and platforms (USPS, UPS, FedEx)
Strong understanding of inventory controls, cycle counting, and reconciliation
Comfortable working onsite in a warehouse environment
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work cross-functionally with Supply Chain, IT, Sales, and Finance
Nice-to-Have
Experience with system integrations or WMS/ERP implementations
Experience scaling in-house warehouse operations
Knowledge of lot tracking, batch management, or expiration dating
Experience in CPG, supplements, or eCommerce fulfillment

Inventory accuracy consistently at or above 99%
WMS inventory reliably matches physical counts and ERP system
Minimal shipping errors and fulfillment discrepancies
Clean, organized warehouse with documented SOPs
Proactive identification and resolution of inventory/system issues
