Position Summary
The Warehouse Picker is responsible for accurately selecting, handling, and preparing products for outbound orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow written instructions in English, basic math competency, and comfort using warehouse technology such as scanners and warehouse management systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Accurately pick products using pick lists, RF scanners, and a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Read, understand, and follow written work instructions, labels, and location identifiers in English.
• Use WMS tools to confirm item locations, quantities, and order accuracy.
• Verify SKUs, quantities, lot numbers, and expiration dates when required.
• Stage completed picks neatly and correctly for packing or outbound processing.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all warehouse safety rules, SOPs, and quality standards.
• Report inventory discrepancies, damages, or system issues to a Lead or Supervisor promptly.
• Meet or exceed productivity and accuracy expectations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Must be able to read and write English clearly and accurately.
• Above-average basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable learning and using scanners and warehouse software.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive motions safely.
• Work performed in clean, well-maintained warehouse conditions.
Employment Requirements
• Reliable, verifiable personal transportation.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred (Not Required)
• Prior warehouse or fulfillment experience.
• Experience using RF scanners or WMS systems.
• Experience using ShipHero WMS is a strong advantage.
Schedule & Availability
• Must be able to work assigned shifts, including overtime as required.
