🔧 Day-to-Day
Manage IT support and service delivery. You’ll run our ticketing system, triage requests, resolve day-to-day issues, and ensure the team has responsive, high-quality IT support.
Oversee device and access lifecycle. You’ll handle provisioning and de-provisioning of laptops, mobile devices, applications, and user access.
Manage hardware procurement, distribution, inventory, and asset tracking.
Maintain security and compliance standards. You’ll own IT-related requirements for SOC 2 and other compliance frameworks. You’ll implement security controls, conduct access reviews, and deliver security awareness training for the team.
Develop, maintain, and continuously improve IT policies, operating standards, documentation, and internal training.
Plan and execute IT infrastructure changes and initiatives, such as platform migrations and tooling improvements.
Manage IT vendors and third-party platforms, ensuring performance, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with business needs.
Identify bottlenecks and proactively improve processes, automation, and systems to support company growth.
⚡ Challenges
Balancing hands-on support with strategic, forward-looking initiatives. You'll need to triage daily requests while also driving longer-term improvements and infrastructure projects.
Maintaining security and compliance standards without creating bottlenecks for the team.
Pace - we move very quickly, so you’ll need to be excited to come in and learn extremely fast.
✅ Who This Role is For
An experienced technical operator ready to own the IT function end-to-end.
Someone who can switch gears quickly - triaging support tickets one moment, then jumping into a vendor negotiation or compliance audit the next.
Someone comfortable being hands-on with day-to-day IT support while also thinking strategically about how systems, processes, and controls need to evolve.
You'll be comfortable with ambiguity and building as you go, creating processes and standards where they don't exist yet.
A strong communicator who can translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and build trust across the business.
🚫 Who This Role is Not For
Specialists looking to focus solely on one domain (security, infrastructure, etc.) - this is a broad IT/systems generalist role.
Those looking for a purely strategic or advisory position without hands-on operational ownership.
Those who prefer highly structured or repetitive work.
Those who struggle with ambiguity or shifting responsibilities.
Those who view compliance and security as bureaucratic hurdles rather than business enablers.
🎯 Skills & Tools
Must Have:
Hands-on experience managing IT systems, infrastructure, or technical operations. We care more about how you think and solve problems than where you learned it, but you must be comfortable operating as the primary owner of IT.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to anyone.
Solid understanding of security fundamentals as they apply to internal IT.
Nice to Have:
Experience with device management/MDM platforms
Experience supporting security and compliance requirements (SOC 2, ISO 27001)
Familiarity with cloud platforms and SaaS tools (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Exposure to automation or scripting to improve IT workflows and reduce manual effort
Essential Tools:

Microsoft and/or Google Workspace
IT ticketing or service management system
Bonus Tools:

Compliance and audit tooling (e.g. Drata)
