. In this position, you will collaborate with multiple departments to develop necessary accounting and financial reports to ensure compliance and accuracy. Additional job details are listed below:
- Maintain financial reports, records and general ledger accounts
- Prepare journal entries, analysis and participating in the monthly close processes
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Respond to information requests and reviewing financial statements
- Support the annual financial audit and other state and local regulatory requirements
- Document new processes or procedures and update existing standard operating procedures as needed.
- Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner to achieve the overall objectives of this position
- Keep immediate manager promptly informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
Qualifications
Qualifications
- BSc/HND in Accounting or relevant field.
- Professional qualification in Accounting is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of accounting and analytical skills.
- 3+ years of experience in a Company Accountant Role.
- Sound experience in the use of Accounting and financial report software, e.g SAP
- Highly computer literate in Microsoft Suite (especially Excel and Power BI)
- Demonstrable leadership abilities with strong interpersonal skills, keen to motivate and effectively educate and connect other colleagues regarding all accounting matters
- Good Creative and Innovative skills
