As a Kubernetes Openshift Administrator, you will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, monitoring, management, and capacity planning of OpenShift Kubernetes clusters to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This role involves managing upgrades, patching, and configuration changes to keep systems secure and updated, as well as collaborating with DevOps teams and application developers to facilitate the deployment and scaling of containerized applications.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deploy, configure, monitor and manage OpenShift Kubernetes clusters in accordance with established requirements and standards.
- Troubleshoot and Support: Investigate and resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions.
- Continuously optimize the performance of applications and infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Work closely with development teams to understand application architecture and provide support throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Document processes, architectures, and configurations to maintain knowledge sharing within the team.
- Participate in on-call rotation and incident response activities to support production systems.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of OpenShift 4.x, Kubernetes, and containerization technologies;
- Proven experience in managing OpenShift infrastructure, optimizing resources, and ensuring cluster health;
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA);
- Proved experience with one or more cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their respective services, would be a plus;
- Experience with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) integrated with Kubernetes, would be a plus;
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana), would be a plus.
- Good level of French is mandatory.
- Good level of English would be a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams.
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment, quickly adapting to changing technologies and business needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to document processes clearly and effectively for team knowledge sharing.
