Responsibilities:
- Participates in setting and monitoring training and development objectives in line with the bank’s policies and strategic directions.
- Contributes to identifying and designing training methodologies and plans for the bank’s roles, including courses and programs aligned with job requirements and the needs of departments and branches.
- Coordinates with the direct manager to identify training needs for the bank’s departments and branches, in line with career paths, performance evaluations, job competencies, and the bank’s direction, with the aim of enhancing employee satisfaction and performance development.
- Prepares the initial draft of the annual training plan in collaboration with the direct manager, based on the results of performance gap analyses for employees and business sectors within the bank.
- Participates in preparing estimated training budgets under the supervision of the direct manager, follows up on their implementation, and submits all reports related to expenses and utilization within the approved budget items.
- Contributes to developing and managing plans for any new initiatives related to the training process.
- Collaborates with subject-matter experts and relevant departments to review training materials provided by instructors and ensures their effectiveness in achieving the intended objectives.
- Reviews training methods used in the market, analyzes them, and proposes suitable options to the direct manager in alignment with the training plan and the bank’s objectives and directions.
- Oversees the implementation of training programs in accordance with the approved training plan and timeline.
- Supervises evaluation tools/examinations for training programs and all related communications with instructors and participants; participates in preparing final lists, determining participants’ levels, and sharing them with concerned parties after approval by the direct manager.
- Follows up on performance measurement indicators for training programs with stakeholders across the bank’s departments and branches, and contributes proposals to the direct manager to enhance the effectiveness and development of these programs based on actual business needs.
- Contacts service providers to solicit proposals for delivering courses in accordance with the highest quality standards.
- Reviews instructors’ fees and services provided for courses based on prevailing market rates and submits recommendations to obtain the necessary approvals.
- Provides guidance and training to Learning and Development Specialists, contributes to their professional development, and facilitates knowledge transfer.
- Ensures daily operations are carried out in accordance with approved policies and procedures and within granted authorities, safeguarding the rights of the bank and its employees.
- Reviews internal and external audit reports, follows up on observations, and works to address them comprehensively
Requirements
• A university degree in Administrative, Financial, or Banking Sciences, or any related field.
• minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience in the role, with solid knowledge of banking operations.
• Proficiency in English at a good level, both written and spoken.
• In-depth knowledge of all training methods, methodologies, and procedures.
• Good knowledge of the procedures governing work and their updates (internal and external).
• Computer literacy and the ability to work with various applied systems.
• Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with others.
