ABOUT THIS ROLE
As a Line Service Specialist at Aero, you will be a key contributor to safe and efficient ramp and experience support operations. You’ll work directly with aircraft, FBO line technicians, flight crews, and CSRs to ensure smooth arrivals, departures, and turn-around activities while maintaining the highest standards of safety, appearance, and service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Be present during aircraft arrivals and departures for charter and scheduled flightsCollect, tag, and weigh luggage, ensuring all information is accurately recorded in Aero's systems.Confirm FBO line services are properly scheduled, dispatched and positioned prior to aircraft departure and arrival.Support aircraft services when FBO lines services experience delays, including loading luggageConduct aircraft up-lifts and down-lifts, including washing dishes, atlas boxes and other catering equipment utilized on the aircraft.Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all aircraft services for every departure and arrival. This includes confirming water, lavatory, paper, ice, and coffee services are properly conducted and accurately recorded within Aero's systems.Support coordinating aircraft fueling and immediately follow up with FBO dispatch if fueling personnel or equipment are delayed.Liaise with the FBO line service team to optimize aircraft parking according to operational needs. Escalate and document service delays to management.Ensure safe ramp operation around Aero aircraft (securing luggage and catering carts, removing trash from the ramp, ground equipment removal, etc.)
REQUIREMENTS
2-5 years experience in FBO line service in business aviation.Excellent verbal English communication skills. Required to adhere to strict uniform and presentation guidelines.Optimism and collaboration: you are always eager to lend a helping hand; you bring a calm yet confident energy, especially in high-pressure situations; you believe your success comes by making others successful. Must successfully complete and maintain GSC accreditation.alid driver’s license and ability to obtain airport security clearance.Must be able to work in the United States. As this is a (DOT) safety-sensitive position as defined in 14 CFR part 120[1]: All prospective employees are subject to DOT pre-employment testing and random drug testing throughout employment for the following drugs and their metabolites.Must have a flexible work schedule, be willing to work outside of 9-5 hours including nights, split shifts, weekends and holidays, and be comfortable with last minute/regular changes.Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours. Ability to move, pull, carry or lift up to 100lb. (luggage, carts, etc.). Occasionally kneel, bend, carry and assist around the aircraft. Fast-paced movement may be required.
