NextGen Federal Systems is seeking a motivated Logistics Coordinator to provide warehouse, supply, and logistics support to our Intelligence Community (IC) customer. The selected candidate will support material management, property accountability, transportation coordination, and equipment life cycle activities within a secure mission environment.
This position will require occasional travel to the DC/Northern Virginia area.
Responsibilities
Provide administrative and logistics support in the development of requirements and documentation for government acquisition of equipment Assist in conducting market research with DoD organizations and commercial vendors supporting detection, collection, and related technologies Maintain accurate inventories of accountable equipment and supplies Assist in maintaining accounts in the Financial Accounting and Corporate Tracking System (FACTS) and support property accountability functions Support scheduling and execution of required periodic maintenance for equipment and assist in updating equipment and spare parts databases Assist with purchasing mission-related equipment, software, and expendable items Support shipping load-outs using commercial and military transportation systems Assist in facilitating transportation of equipment and supplies (hazardous and non-hazardous materials), including support to MILAIR standards Provide support for material management, supply program implementation, stock record control, and requisition processing Assist in preparation and review of documentation including DD200, DD250, and DD1149 forms Receive, inspect, inventory, load, unload, segregate, store, issue, deliver, turn in, and dispose of organizational supplies and equipment Support warehouse organization, storage management, accountability, and preservation of supplies and equipment Assist with warehouse badging and access system support Courier classified and unclassified materials between locations in accordance with security protocols Track Purchase Requests and route through appropriate channels for government review Provide back-up support to Communications Specialist as required
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of experience in warehouse or logistics operations Basic understanding of inventory management and supply chain processes Ability to lift, move, and organize equipment and supplies in a warehouse environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to follow established procedures and security protocols Willingness to work in a secure, mission-driven environment Interim SECRET clearance required to start; must be eligible for TS/SCI
Desired Experience
Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community organizations Familiarity with property accountability systems such as FACTS Experience with hazardous material handling and shipping procedures Experience supporting secure material handling and courier responsibilities
