Low-Code Engineer - Outsystems

Arηs Group, Part of Accenture, is looking for a Low-Code Engineer for one of tis clients in Brussels, a key player in the Belgian Health Insurance domain.

Context

• Building and developing projects around the functionalities of the client’s system, with focus on the Appointment Tool
• Working in an Agile approach: The scrum methodology is used to develop the solution. In this context, you must work closely with the business, and analyst/testers so that the functionalities are delivered correctly.

Role & responsibilities

• You are responsible for implementing the requirements (Epics, User Stories, ...)
• Building and developing projects around and functionalities of the client project.
• Developing new Outsystems (front-end and back-end) apps.
• Refactoring of existing programs
• Communicating efficiently with the various stakeholders (business/functional analysts, solution architect) so that they perfectly understand the priorities of the tasks.
• Making sure your code has been tested.
• Proposing technical improvements and advocating for them during team discussions
• Supporting the analyst/tester with the functional tests.
• Analyzing integrations with other parties and systems.
• Creating the technical design from the functional analysis.
• Working together with developers from the team to install the applications and monitor their operation.
• Supporting other developers in their development.
• Documenting your software thoroughly, without getting bogged down in detail.

Qualifications

Your profile

• Critical mindset, with good analytical & synthesis skills
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Sense of quality, accuracy and a no-nonsense mentality
• Able to work under stress
• Result-oriented, proactive, dynamic, ...
• Dutch/French speaking, good knowledge of English is a must.

Technical skills

• Very thorough knowledge (minimum 4 years of experience) of LowCode and more specifically of the Outsystems platform
• Knowledge of html/css
• Knowledge of SQL and working with APIs
• Experience with Scrum as an Agile methodology
