About the role:
Our Commercial team is a vital, client-facing function responsible for driving growth through new client acquisition as well as across proSapient’s existing client base, ensuring our clients fully realize the value of our expanding suite of products, including expert calls, surveys, and emerging research solutions. As a fast-growing expert network, we partner closely with our clients to become a trusted, long-term advisor and preferred expert intelligence partner.
The Manager, Commercial role is responsible for managing medium-to-large commercial segment and territory and is critical to the execution of proSapient’s company-wide growth ambitions and Commercial strategy with full commercial ownership of the assigned client segment and commercial territory. This role requires high-performing leadership and subject matter expertise to influence and manage engagement with all key internal and external stakeholders. You will manage complex commercial processes and drive strategic initiatives to deliver superior commercial outcomes within the assigned territory, elevating proSapient’s positioning to secure strong partnerships and achieve long-term company objectives.
The role requires partner-like engagement with existing clients, sophisticated commercial judgment, and close cross-functional collaboration to accelerate revenue growth, expand market share, and elevate proSapient’s positioning across the North American market.

The key competencies to be successful in this role:
· proLeader: Ownership of territory performance; acting as a trusted partner to clients and internal stakeholders with a proactive, collaborative approach.
· Commercial Acumen: Expertise in key account management; ability to translate commercial objectives into structured growth plans while balancing client needs with business priorities.
· Client Focus: Building trust-based, partner-like relationships; anticipating client needs and maintaining a high standard of client experience.
· Results Driven: Consistent achievement of revenue targets and OKRs; maintaining pipeline discipline and accountability for territory performance.
· Critical Thinking: Using data and market metrics to inform commercial decisions and prioritize territory health.
Requirements
· Experience: Minimum three years in a commercial and/or client-facing role with an active network and established relationships within Consulting and/or Private Equity firms to tap into.
· Segment Expertise: Essential success in a commercial and account management role management role growing key accounts specifically within Private Equity and Consulting.
· Scale-up Mindset: Experienced Individual Contributor in a high-growth environment, balancing strategy with tactical delivery with the “business owner mindset”
· Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the Expert Network field (or similar information services/alternative data) is preferred.
· Mobility: Must be able to travel across North America; ideally located in a proSapient hub (Toronto preferred).

This is a permanent role, paying a total salary range of $80 - $115k CAD per annum, as a combination of both fixed & variable earnings.
This is a hybrid role, featuring Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays at our downtown Toronto office, which are set days across the entire company and non-negotiable.
You will need to be currently legally authorised to work in Canada, and specifically, Ontario, for this role. proSapient cannot offer sponsorship or visa support of any kind.
