We’re a team of friends bound together by a mission to preserve our planet for future generations through innovative energy solutions and modern infrastructure. In December 2025, Google announced an agreement to acquire Intersect, to enable more data center and generation capacity to come online faster while accelerating energy development and innovation. After close, we’ll continue doing exactly what we were built to do - develop, construct, and operate the most ambitious power and data infrastructure in the country.
Intersect’s operations will remain separate from Alphabet and Google under the Intersect brand. We’re on an aggressive growth trajectory and looking for people hungry to tackle the largest energy challenges on the planet.
As part of Intersect’s Market Analytics team, you’ll help power the data infrastructure and insights that support energy trading and commercial decision-making. This role focuses on building and improving data pipelines, developing analytical tools, and delivering market insights across power and natural gas markets.
This is an opportunity to apply strong quantitative and programming skills in a real-world trading environment—working closely with analysts, traders, and originators to improve how data is structured, analyzed, and leveraged. You’ll contribute to scaling analytics capabilities while gaining deep exposure to ERCOT electricity markets, natural gas dynamics, and emerging large-load trends such as data centers.
This team plays a critical role in advancing Intersect’s mission to accelerate the renewable energy transition by enabling data-driven decision-making across development, finance, and commercial operations. The Market Analytics team partners closely with trading, origination, and technical teams to deliver insights that improve performance, reduce risk, and unlock value across a growing portfolio of clean energy assets. Joining this team means working at the intersection of data, markets, and strategy—where your contributions directly impact how Intersect scales and operates.
