KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Medical Sales Manager is a member of the Commercial Management Team in VN and contributes to the development and deployment of the country specific business strategy. This position directs and controls the Medical Sales function for the company to achieve agreed sales budget and develops the sales plan & procedures that will meet the objectives of the company’s commercial strategy. 

JOB SUMMARY:
1. Leadership
• Leadership of Sales team in accordance with Company’s Vision, Values & Strategies.
• Assess, hire, hold and develop critical know-how and competence for area of responsibility

2. Sales Responsibility
• Holds Sales budget responsibility for the assigned market
• Maximize the sales development through business plan and develop and implement sales strategies that enable the company to achieve its corporate objectives
• Contribute to the development of the company’s corporate strategy, particularly in relation to sales objectives
• Develop and implement all necessary procedures and processes to ensure that the sales function operates efficiently and effectively and achieves its objectives
• Lead & manage the sales team members to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained to meet all sales targets and that they carry out their responsibilities in accordance with the required standards
• Monitor the performance of the sales function and take remedial action where necessary to ensure that all sales targets/KPIs are met • Develop and control the budget for the sales function to ensure that all financial targets are met and that all necessary financial controls are in place to comply with company and regulatory requirements
• Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and other relevant bodies to ensure that the company’s maximum sales potential is realized
• Monitor the sales performance of competitors to ensure that the company maintains and develops its competitive position
• Together with Business Vertical team to develop and implement a customer service strategy which provides short and long-term customer satisfaction and meets corporate objectives
• Develop and implement Sales Channel strategies in accordance with Commercial strategies maximizing market coverage and sales efficiency.
• Manage Sales Funnel (Opportunities)

3. Market Insights– KOL/Key stakeholders management
• Maintain information about market trends and competitor intelligence for all products, market segments and customer areas to support developing Commercial & Sales strategy
• Translate market trends into actions in alignment with the overall strategy
• Ensure good engagement with Local health key stakeholders, KOLs

4. Finance & Controlling
• Coordinate a budget/business plan/midterm planning in close collaboration and agreement with the Commercial Director regarding net sales, expenses for Sales within the company
• Provide high quality sales funnel data in order to ensure proper input for the financial rolling forecast process
• Manage proper follow-up & monitoring on the allocated budget & expenses

5. People management & Development
• Develop and execute annual individual development plans to enhance performance on the job, and one which identifies knowledge and skills gaps based on business and career goals.
• Enhance performance of sales team members through establishment of a performance dialogue with evaluation of direct reports and input into evaluation of indirect reports, including regular coaching and feedback; formal identification and satisfaction of training needs, personal development planning, talent management, and succession planning.
• Address identified needs or issues through people development plans.
• Effective Succession plan
• Training: Define TNA for sales team & input to Sales Training team to develop a comprehensive training plan and actively driving the implementation within sales force.

6. Enterprise Leadership: Demonstrate good behaviors in align with company's core values thru leading by examples
7. Compliance: Follow company's code of conduct and drive the compliance culture within the organization thru leading by examples

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute commercial strategies to drive revenue growth, market share, and profitability across all healthcare services.
  • Lead and manage sales, marketing, and business development teams to achieve commercial objectives.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations with hospitals, clinics, corporates, and healthcare organizations.
  • Strengthen the company’s brand positioning, ensuring alignment with corporate values and patient-centric care standards.
  • Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee pricing strategies, key account management, and channel development.
  • Ensure compliance with local healthcare regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with medical, operations, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of commercial initiatives.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and performance management to the commercial team.
  • Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred
  • Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in commercial, sales, or business development roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position in the medical, healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical device, or related industry.
  • Proven track record of delivering revenue growth and building market presence for strong healthcare brands.
  • Deep understanding of Vietnam’s healthcare landscape, regulations, and market dynamics.
  • Strong business acumen with ability to translate strategy into actionable plans.
  • Skills & Competencies:

  • Fluent in English and Vietnamese (spoken and written).
