- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using SQL Server, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, and related Azure services.
- Develop high‑performance storage structures and materialized views across analytical platforms.
- Create and maintain data exchange endpoints and interfaces for internal consumers.
- Contribute to data governance practices including glossary maintenance, data modeling, lineage documentation, and data quality improvements.
- Collaborate closely with business analysts, domain experts, and stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver integrated, value‑driven data solutions.
- Participate actively in solution testing and support DevOps reinforcement within the team.
- Create, maintain, and structure technical documentation.
- Promote reuse, standardisation, and coherent data approaches across the enterprise.
Qualifications
Technical Experience
Hands‑on experience (3–5+ years preferred) in at least two of the following areas:
- Advanced SQL Server usage
- Building data pipelines with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Azure Stream/Log Analytics, Azure DevOps
- Developing Python‑based data pipelines or data enrichment solutions in Databricks
- Openness to learn new technologies such as Redis, RabbitMQ, Neo4j, Apache Arrow, etc.
Additional Skills
- Experience with Power BI
- Experience with SAP data integration is a plus
- Strong ability to challenge and refine requirements using rational reasoning
- Willingness to contribute to testing, DevOps activities, and documentation
- Customer‑oriented mindset and iterative thinking
- Analytical problem‑solving approach and continuous improvement mindset
- Team player with respect, open‑mindedness, and a product‑focused attitude
- Strong communication skills and willingness to share knowledge
Languages
- Fluent English (mandatory)
- Fluent German, French, or Dutch (preferred)
