The Project Manager is accountable for the end-to-end control, execution, and financial performance of assigned plumbing and HVAC projects across both construction and service departments.
This role ensures projects are authorized, planned, executed, monitored, and closed in a disciplined and repeatable manner, replacing informal coordination and reactive problem-solving with structured project management, documented controls, and measurable outcomes.

Enforcing standardized project lifecycle stagesConducting disciplined project kickoffs before work beginsMaintaining project plans, schedules, and execution controlsEnsuring projects are properly closed financially and operationallyMonitoring job cost performance against budgetManaging labor productivity and material usageIdentifying scope changes promptlyEnsuring all changes are documented, priced, approved, and billedMaintaining change order logs and aging visibilityDeveloping and maintaining project schedulesCoordinating execution with the Construction Director and Service DirectorAligning labor and material readiness with project timelinesServing as the single point of accountability for assigned projectsProviding accurate, timely project updates to operations leadershipEscalating risks and constraints before they become failuresMaintaining complete and accurate project documentation
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of project management experience in plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical contractingDemonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projectsProven accountability for job cost and schedule performancePMP® or PMP-equivalent project management training preferredOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferredConstruction management, engineering, or equivalent experienceStructured project planning and executionFinancial and job cost awarenessStrong written and verbal communication
