We are seeking a Mid-Level Systems Engineer responsible for supporting and maintaining application infrastructure across enterprise networks. This role ensures system availability, security compliance, and operational continuity in a 24/7 mission environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design, install, configure, and maintain operating systems and application infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements to ensure availability and reliability.
- Implement security controls, backups, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Develop automation scripts to improve system efficiency.
- Troubleshoot complex system, application, and network issues.
- Maintain detailed system documentation and architecture diagrams.
- Provide on-call support as required.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture, server administration, and virtualization.
- Experience with automation and scripting.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Ability to commute daily to Tysons, VA.
- Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP).
