Please note that this hybrid role will require onsite working from our site in Warminster. Due to the nature of this role, Skyral can only consider applications from candidates who live in the UK and are eligible for Government Security Clearance.
Develop and adapt models based on authority-provided data, SME input and training needs.
Implement behavioural logic, effects and interactions as well as environmental responses.
Tune models to balance fidelity, performance and scalability.
Integrate models with other simulation components, terrain and environment systems and external systems.
Working closely with Integration Engineers, our Content & Catalogue Administrator and our Quality Assurance Engineer.
Strong analytical and systems thinking mindset.
Comfortable working across multiple modelling domains.
Curious and willing to challenge assumptions.
Balances realism with practical constraints.
Comfortable iterating based on feedback rather than seeking perfection first time.
Strong programming in high-performance C++ and Python.
Experience building real-time systems and simulation components or engines.
A strong understanding of modelling approaches including: Agent based modelling, Behavioural modelling and Physics modelling.
Experience with model calibration and tuning, representational fidelity and Real-time simulation constraints.
Experience working with real-time 3D simulation and visualisation platforms such as Unity and Unreal Engine.
Experience in one or more of the following: Military capability modelling, Human Behaviour modelling, Environmental modelling, Terrain / GIS systems.
